The works entitled Random Assembly Mosaic represent the embryonic phase of the Puzzling project, the photographic tiles are selected and assembled on the basis of chromatic and geometric affinities; a first step aimed at putting in order the thousands of disarranged tiles used in The Rape of Veniceand propaedeutic to the elaboration process of the Puzzling series in which the choice and positioning of the tiles is functional, in reinterpreting a pictorial work, to obtain a recognisability with the original painting.
