Fermo Immagine is a Andrea Morucchio's solo exhibition of industrial landscape photography that collects a selection of shots from Morucchio's PTM Porto Marghera series.
"There is a time suspended in Andrea Morucchio's photographs, a motionless time that determines a condition of passage, as if the place detached itself for a fraction of a second from the reality that houses it and moved into a metaphysical elsewhere. Certainly it is always the eye of the beholder who determines the shift of the image from the real to the dreamlike dimension, but in these images, which depict the ordered sequence of a place / non-place, it remains a fixed point in Morucchio's way of photographing andthat is to say to restore an authentic visual emotion." (Stefano Cecchetto)
Fermo Immagine is part of the Freedom project, four solo exhibitions by four Venetian photographers: Edoardo Cozzolin, Francesco Finotto, Simone Manzato, Andrea Morucchio.
