VASI COMUNICANTI

September 19 - October 20, 2002 | sculpture | Officina Contemporanea, Palazzo Mutilati, Verona.

Curated by Roberto Bianconi, Andrea Pagnes

Vasi Comunicanti is a project with the aim of enhancing the potential of design as a possible engine to strengthen the economy of the marble sector with appropriate promotion initiatives.

Thanks to this initiative, in fact, it was possible to bring together the manual skills of traditional artistic craftsmanship and the skill of the operators of the marble sector with the taste for design and creativity of designers, giving life to the experimentation of a new architectural language which draws from tradition and which is completed with it.

This dialogue between art and design has led to the creation of 20 projects of artistic vases in which the physical and chromatic characteristics of marble and glass merge into forms and combinations that complement and communicate with each other, hence the name of the exhibition.
