Puzzling Flowers series is dedicated to the reinterpretation of some Flemish artists - Jan Davidsz de Heem, Jan Brueghel, Balthasar van der Ast - specialized in still lifes with floral subjects.
The transmutation of brush strokes into mosaic tiles is particularly effective with the polychrome and baroque floral still lifes of the Flemish masters.
